
Bruxelles station will be located on the east side of the Bucharest – Ploiești Road, in the north-east area of the intersection between the Bucharest – Ploiești Road and the Ring Road (D.N.C.B.). The Bruxelles station is the launch pad from which the TBMs will be launched in each of the two directions. This station will be equipped with two access points, a gallery and a parking lot in the adjacent green area. The height of the parking lot is B+Gf+1F+walkable terrace. Bruxelles station has a length of 295 m, of which 146.3 m are for the shunting area at the northern end, and has a maximum width of 28.27 m.
Current Work Status
- November 2025: A total of 169 linear meters of guide beams for the diaphragm walls were completed, along with 22 guide beams for the station barrettes (94.6 linear meters), with 228 m³ of soil excavated. Structural works progress: 38%.
- October 2025: Preparatory works were carried out for the excavation and support phases, including equipment mobilization and topographical verification of the site.
The future M6 metro line will transform the daily commute into a pleasant and fast journey to important destinations within the capital and Ilfov. Stations under construction:
