From Tuesday, 21 May 2024, at 10.00 am, traffic will be restricted on lane 1 of the slip road between General Ștefan Holban Street and Selgros Cash & Carry.
The STB station at the junction of General Ștefan Holban Street and Șoseaua București – Ploiești, in the direction of Otopeni – Bucharest, is being relocated by approximately 100 metres towards Otopeni.
Traffic restriction occurs as a result of site activities under the construction contract “Bucharest International Airport Rail Access Link Project (Metro Line 6. 1 Mai-Otopeni). Design and Build – Civil Works for Lot 1.1: 1 Mai-Tokyo” at the future Aeroport Băneasa metro station, on the alignment of the future M6 Metro Line, South Section.
Traffic will be restricted according to the plan approved jointly by C.N.A.I.R. and I.G.P.P.R.
Road signage is carried out according to legal requirements applicable.

“Bucharest International Airport Rail Access Link Project (Metro Line 6. 1 Mai – Otopeni)” is a public utility project of national importance, according to Government Decision no. 496/2017,as amended, which ensures the mobility needs of people through the development of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T).
