Bucharest, May 31, 2024 – UP ALL THE FLAGS!
That’s how the adventure began today in Străulești for the children who love the metro!
METROREX offered its most cherished passengers, the children, an unforgettable day – in preview for the 1st of June, the International Children’s Day.
METROREX General Director, Mariana Miclăuș, welcomed the children who are passionate about the metro upon the arrival of the ‘Children’s Metro’ at Străulești Depot, the place where trains are right at home!
The youngsters enjoyed the exciting trip, whilst the eldest ones welcomed the technical explanations provided live by METROREX specialists.
The more they asked, the greater the curiosity of the young guests (some of whom are future engineers or mechanics), and the greater the joy felt by everyone.
The drawings brought by all the participants in the event have already beeen on display in the exhibition ‘We put children’s drawings in the spotlight’ at the Străulești Metro Museum.

The METROREX event was organized together with the representatives of the Constructors appointed for the design and build of the civil works for the South and North Sections of the M6 Metro Line: Alsim Alarko – Makyol Association, respectively Gülermak Ağir Sanayi Insaat Ve Taahhüt A.S.-Somet SA and with the support of the representatives of the consultant in this project, the International consortium: PADECO CO., LTD., ORIENTAL CONSULTANTS GLOBAL CO., LTD, METROUL S.A.
