Between November 6 and 15, 2025, infrastructure work will be carried out, with temporary road signage approved by the Ilfov County Police Inspectorate – Traffic Division.
Starting Friday, November 7, 2025, at 7:30 a.m., road traffic, including buses, in the DEPARTURES area will be rerouted to the newly constructed lanes, in accordance with the approved traffic plan for the construction work related to the future “Aeroport Otopeni” metro station, on M6 Metro Line.

Design and Build – Civil Works for Lot 1.2: Tokyo – Aeroport Otopeni” is a public utility project of national interest, established under Government Decision no. 496/2017, as amended and supplemented, aiming to meet passenger mobility needs through the development of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T).
M6 Metro Line will provide a direct link from Gara de Nord to Henri Coandă International Airport.
