A delegation from Cluj-Napoca City Hall, involved in delivering the Cluj metro project, today paid a working visit to the Metro Line 6 construction site in Bucharest, as part of an exchange of experience dedicated to underground infrastructure projects.
During the visit, representatives of Metrorex, of the Contractors and of the Supervisor presented the current status of the works, the way the site is organised and managed, and the experience gained in delivering an infrastructure project of great complexity.
The discussions covered the exchange of good practice, the challenges encountered in the course of the project and the technical and organisational solutions applied in carrying out the works.
The programme also included a visit to the site of the future Piața Montreal station, where the delegation had the opportunity to see how the works are progressing and the main activities under way.
Meetings of this kind help strengthen the collaboration between the teams involved in developing metro projects in Romania and make it easier to transfer knowledge and experience between specialists, to the benefit of urban transport infrastructure development.
