March began on the SOUTH Section with the completion of the second tunnel segment, roughly 2 km long, between the future Tokyo, Aeroport Băneasa and Gara Băneasa stations, on Line 1.
TBM “Sfânta Ana” has excavated 2,006 metres and installed 1,334 tunnel rings, making a decisive contribution to the progress of the works.
