On the occasion of the 19th edition of the Railway Days SUMMIT, October 29-30, 2024, METROREX General Director, Mariana Miclăuș, addressed the participants at the opening of the event about the Bucharest metro, a significant solution of transport for the mobility of the Capital.
With a lifetime’s experience in the field and anticipating the celebration of METROREX’s 45th anniversary, the company director thanked all those who support the metro: authorities, collaborators and, last but not least, passengers.
The company’s values that define the metro as the most efficient and environmentally friendly alternative for urban transportation were reiterated.
Beyond the continuous concern to improve quality and safety standards, METROREX means an uninterrupted series of investments for the development of the current and future network.
In addition to the presentations during the event, the participants had the opportunity to get updated information about the works on the M6 Metro Line, the new one that will connect Gara de Nord with Otopeni International Airport.
